How to Pass your Jamb UTME

Jamb UTME is an exam that is done everyyear by Nigerian students wishing to gain entry into Nigeria's higher institutions.
Passing Jamb is a huge challenge for a lot of students each year as they try to at least make up to 60% of the total scores.
Jamb UTME comes with 4 subjects and the total score is up to 400 so for someone to at least have a pass mark in Jamb, he/she should make more than 200. Also with the increasing competition for space in university admissions, more universities in Nigeria and higher institutions keep on increasing their cut off marks for several departments. So in order to pass Jamb and have a good chance of getting admitted, the best thing to do is get ready for it and not wait for expo.
Here are my tips on passing the Jamb UTM Exams:
- Buy the Jamb form early and submit early providing your actual personal details
- Also make sure that you choose a Jamb center close to your home or a comfortable place
- Get the syllabus for the courses that you are going to do
- Subscribe to pre-Jamb tutorial centres that are good and have lessons at regular times. Don't go for quacks
- Read extensively everyday and do practice questions (for more help call me 08062611277)
- Gain an understanding and don't just rely on cramming answers yet
- After you must have covered the syllabus, try to focus on past questions
- Focus mainly on Maths and English because that is where most people fail
- When it is 2 - 3 weeks to the d-Day, forget about reading theories, focus on past questions and objective questions on your subjects
- Don't rely on expo or cheating or copying on the exam day since they can disappoint you. Rely on what you have studied so far. Your best bet is your brain.
